Because of its close proximity to Burlington, South Burlington’s students find it convenient to continue their education at the University of Vermont, Champlain College, or Burlington College.

Active recreation is one of South Burlington’s main pastimes. The seventy-acre Veterans Memorial Park has seemingly endless open spaces for every activity under the sun. Bus service provided by the superb Chittenden County Transportation Authority helps to reduce traffic and keep Vermont green by offering low-cost transportation to Burlington and its suburbs. For longer trips, the Burlington International Airport is an easy way to access the world, though once you’ve experienced life in South Burlington you’ll certainly be excited to return.
