Lauren Gaffney Cohen

Lauren has lived and worked in Vermont for most of her life. After graduating from Western New England University, she lived in Massachusetts -- only to realize just how much she loves Vermont!

"Time away from the Green Mountain State allowed me to have a tremendous appreciation for home and everything it has to offer, most of all...the wonderful people," says Lauren.

She worked for the Essex Recreation Department when she began working in real estate part-time, discovering quickly where her true passion lies. She joined The Gardner Group in 2013 and has helped rewrite some of the company contracts to strengthen the rights of the team's clients.

Today, she and her husband Matt live with their daughter, son, and rescue pup in Chittenden County.

She serves on several boards and organizations, including serving as the Chair of the Community Service Committee-NVRA, Member Engagement Committee - VAR, Conservation and Trails Committee for the Town of Essex, church, Camp TKT events, and fundraising. Lauren also received The Dody Fraher-Ruland Good Neighbor Award in 2023 from the NVRA Realtor of Distinction for all of her hardwork in our community.
When time allows, Lauren enjoys being outside biking, kayaking, Nordic skiing, snowboarding, hiking, and adventuring with her family.
